bradelterman: Joan Jett was a giant Suzie Quatro fan when she was a teenager. One day she was hanging out at the Hyatt House trying to meet Suzie when she met Suzie Quatro’s manager, Toby Mamis from Famous Toby Mamis Enterprises. Not only did Toby introduce Joan to Suzie, but he was one of the first to spot her talent and charisma and went on to be one of the original managers of The Runaways. Toby and I are still buddies.  I took this photo at Rodney’s radio show when Suzie and Joan were guests back in 1977. You can see Rodney greasing the phones in the background!
